We use the highest quality tanning products available - St Tropez for spray tanning and Fake Bake for self tanning. Our staff are professionally trained, with the experience of over 2,000 tanning treatments. For your convenience, we are open until 8.30pm on Wednesday & Thursday evenings and there is free parking behind the building. We do not offer UV based sunbed tanning. |

St Tropez spray tanning

St Tropez is the most popular & well known tanning product around and its spray tan is a fantastic product that gives great results. The tan is applied via a special spray tanning system. A trained St.Tropez professional sprays a fine mist of Bronzing solution over your body resulting in an even, streak less, natural looking tan. One application will give the skin a healthy looking glow but if a deeper colour is required a 2nd application can be applied.

To get the best from spray tanning
|
Prior to Treatment - To get the best from your tan, exfoliate and moisturise your skin regularly prior to having the St.Tropez treatment, especially the day before. But do not moisturise or exfoliate on the day of your treatment. This will give a smoother surface for the therapist to apply the tan so a much better result will be achieved and the tan will last longer. If you are tanning for special occasion it is recommended that you have a trial run 4-6 weeks before just in case of rare allergies or unexpected results.
After Treatment - To maximise how long your tan will last gently exfoliate, using the St.Tropez Body Polisher every 2-3 days as the tan starts to fade and use the St.Tropez Body Moisturiser, as it will help to prolong the life of the tan.

Fake bake tan
|
Fake Bake tanning treatment takes approx 45-60mins and both the exfoliation & tan are applied by a therapist. A trained Fake Bake professional applies the Fake Bake Body Polish to ensure that your skin is smooth and the tan can be easily applied. This is then showered off, dry areas are spritzed with Fake Bake Skin Smoothie Oil and the Fake Bake tan is applied. Fake Bake’s distinctive colour guide enables the therapist to ensure that the tan has been applied evenly all over.
To prolong your Fake Bake self-tan, make sure you keep your skin well moisturised on a daily basis. After showering either spritz yourself with Fake Bake Skin Smoothie Oil or apply Fake Bake Tan Enhancing Lotion. These products have been specially formulated to work with Fake Bake self-tans. 5 to 7 days after your tan we recommend you gently exfoliate your skin with Fake Bake Body Polish. Repeat this every 2 days thereafter to ensure your tan fades evenly and to prepare your skin for your next Fake Bake self-tan application. |

Tanning Tips
|
To ensure that you get a great result from your tan there are a few simple rules that you need to follow:
- Wear loose dark clothing & flip flops when you go for your tan - it stops the tan from being rubbed off
- Wax or shave at least 24 hrs prior to tan
- Do not wash off for at least 8 hrs minimum (leaving tan on overnight and shower off in the morning always gives great results)
- Shower rather than bath to prolong your tan
- Avoid swimming in chlorinated pools as this brings your tan off quicker
If you have never tried any self tan products before then we do recommend a patch test to make sure that you do not have an allergy to the tanning agent.
